Gallifrey has impeccable taste in fine literature.
This is the entirety of my book Gregory the Dumb lil Monster! The whole book was hand made (screen printed, hand-bound, and cut/folded page-by-page), which was quite the experience. Lots of work, but a lot of fun. I made an edition of ten books, seven of which are still available and for sale (message me if you’re interested in a copy).
I have to say, I’ve grown rather fond of Gregory. Maybe fond enough to make a sequel… ;D

I just started learning how to color things digitally last semester. That first image is my first attempt to color something with photoshop in a digital illustration class. Today I recolored the same ink drawing without looking back at my original attempt, and made the second image. I can’t believe how different they are!! Art school can be really frustrating, but I love those little moments when you can step back, look at your current work compared to the older stuff, and realize how much you’ve learned.
Whelp, I’ve shunned my art supplies due to post-finals spite for long enough. I’ve had a pile of 6x6” canvases sitting on the corner of my drawing table for ages now and I decided it was time to prettify them. So I made a squid. Because. So there.
This is a mix of acrylic paint and ink washes, and the words around the edges of the canvas are lyrics from “So Scared” by Zolof the Rock & Roll Destroyer.
It feels like I haven’t posted art in ages thanks to finals, but I’m back! This is actually one of said finals, a book cover for my favorite poetry collection, Now We Are Sick: An Anthology of Nasty Verse. This was made with graphite, crayons and lipstick, and collaged & colored digitally.
I’ve only got one final project left to finish for Friday, so be expecting a new comic from me some time this weekend. After that I may just revive the Pokemon/Doctor Who project! See ya at winter break, guys! :D
So I’m still having fun with the whole Milo the Anarchist Clydesdale thing. This is the initial line work for a poster featuring him, color is currently in the works.
