Greetings, Evildoers.

Well hey there! I'm Jen Silverman, I'm a comic art major at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and I like making stuff. Pretty stuff. Because really, who doesn't like stuff?

Come to MCAD Minicon March 14th AND 15th! Bring yr friends and spread the word to help make Minicon super successful~

Hey guys, Minicon got expanded to two days this year and it’s gonna be awesome!  Along with there being all sorts of cool stuff to buy & browse through, this year there’s gonna be panels and a movie screening.  Plus I’ll be there so, ya know, you could come say hi and stuff.

Also, if you’ve never seen Solomon’s art and comics, check out the crazy talented dude I reblogged this from.  It’s some seriously awesome stuff!

Contest Winner!

Congrats to the lovely Amanda Nordman, you’ve won yourself some art!

To everyone else- thank you so much for your interest and support, and I know it’s been a bit quiet on here but I promise that some cool new stuff is coming up!  I’m currently working on two new comic books, and I should have enough to show you very soon.  :)

This might become a sticker.  It looks like it should be a sticker.  Sticker?  …Yeah, sticker.

And in case you’re wondering, I made this because I needed a refresher on using Illustrator and I apparently use this phrase too much.

I’m kind of diggin’ the whole using circuit board as canvas thing.  I might need to keep making these…

Witch Week!  Yay!

I went on the assumption that I’d be about as graceful a witch as I am a person (which is to say, not at all) and that Gallifrey would be a pretty shit familiar.  I think the two of us will just stick to our day jobs.

Something a little different now… Someone’s looking for a comics colourist. It is a paid gig, and for a wonderful project.

22 pages, to be ready some time in the next couple of months. Possibility of further issues. I also feel this would be a great project for someone who’s trying to get some…

Hey MCAD folks and various artist buddies!  I’m too busy to apply for this one so I’ll just leave it here for all you lovelies to jump on…

Oh hey, I forgot to update after my previous terror at the thought of ruining my lovingly penciled comic- I DID THE THING!  And actually, the panel that was freaking me out the most turned out better than the rest of the comic.  I think I’ll print out some bluelines and re-ink the whole thing, but I’m still rather fond of this panel so I thought I’d share.  :)

I spent AGES penciling this panel and I was so proud of it…  Now I’m sitting here, brush in hand, absolutely terrified to put any ink down because WHAT IF I FUCK IT UP GUYS THIS IS TOO INTENSE I CAN’T DEAL.
